We've been talking a lot lately about how our temperatures compare to "normal," so let's establish what normal is and why it provides important context. 

So far Louisville has only recorded one one-hundredth of an inch of rain in the month of October. We are only half way through the month, but at this point there are no rain chances for Louisville in the next week.

We had our first extended stretch of fall-like air. last week, and temperatures are about to dip again. Fall is starting to settle in, so let's take a look at when the first frost or freeze of the season may happen.
