It was not immediately known how the accident happened in Bardstown. 

Although all items inside the home were lost, the home can be repaired, according to the Bardstown Fire Department Chief. 

The water quickly receded leaving debris and stranded cars on the roads.

The leak was reported around 4 p.m. on Wilson Parkway, which is just off of New Shepherdsville Road, according to the Bardstown Fire chief.

wo people were injured and transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
