Tuesday is the last day for Kentucky voters to apply for a mail-in absentee ballot.
Anyone voting absentee must postmark their ballot by 6 p.m. on Nov. 3 and it must be received no later than 6 p.m. on Nov. 6.
The suit has been filed on behalf of four voters who have health conditions and say that voting in-person would put them at serious risk.
The secure online Military and Overseas Voting Portal will be an in-house system that does not require a third-party vendor.
