Two people, including a Jefferson County Public Schools student, were shot Wednesday afternoon after a fight that started on a school bus.
On Thursday, Carmon Tussey pleaded guilty in Jefferson Circuit Court to three counts of wanton endangerment and was sentenced to two years in prison. With time already served, Tussey will face no more time and is a free man.
Richard Gatewood claims JCPS improperly terminated him, arguing he was guilty of negligence, insubordination and misconduct, among other things. Gatewood argues he was asserting his parental rights to discipline his child and “bring him under control.”
