The task force is made up of 13 members.
The seat became open in October after the resignation of board chair Diane Porter due to health reasons.
In a letter sent home to families on Monday, the district said some students' school and start time for the upcoming 2023-24 school year "may be incorrect."
The move means that tax rate number will be based off what generates a 4% increase in revenue, but nothing higher than that.
Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio has said the new start times will help the district with a bus driver shortage and chronic absenteeism.
According to the Kentucky Supported Education Partnership, 18% of students with disabilities go on to college in the commonwealth.
The school's principal said staff at the school noticed some students acting suspiciously.
The 2023-24 school year will be the first under the district's new School Choice Plan.
Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio said two of the most difficult challenges in education have been the pandemic itself and an extreme teacher and employee shortage.
The students said having their work published made them "pumped and excited," "because not a lot of people get to do this kind of stuff."
