Two Louisville men charged in the murders of at least six people appeared before a judge on Monday.

A Louisville man charged with murdering his girlfriend and her teenage daughter in June appeared in court Monday after he was indicted last week on new charges.

A 29-year-old woman was indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury on a murder charge in the death of a 4-month-old child in September 2025.

A Jefferson County grand jury indicted a Louisville Metro Police officer this week for inaccuracies in his reported work hours.

The indictments include charges of criminal syndication, human trafficking and promoting human trafficking against defendants across several Kentucky counties.

A woman accused of killing her son and leaving his body in a suitcase in rural southern Indiana appeared in court in Louisville for the first time Monday.

Washington County Prosecutor Tara Coats Hunt said the venue change "ensures the strongest legal foundation and prevents any future appellate ruling from overturning a conviction due to a technicality." 

Police said a man in his 20s had been shot to death.
