Wednesday's Powerball jackpot now rolls to $1.25 billion. 

The woman bought the winning ticket from the Speedway in Lebanon Junction. 

A group of Barton 1792 Distillery workers have been paying into an office pool for a over a year to purchase tickets for the three weekly Powerball drawings.

She told officials she will put the winnings in savings for now.

In fiscal year ending June 30, the Kentucky Lottery said it also generated more than $2 billion in sales.

There hasn't been a big jackpot collected in Kentucky since there were two in 2010. 

She decided to add the Power Play feature for an additional $1 per set of numbers, which doubled her winnings to $2 million.

The lucky winner showed up at Kentucky Lottery headquarters in Louisville Thursday where he received a check for $178,750 after taxes. 

The person who bought the 2nd place ticket will receive $25,000 a year for life.
