The off-ramp to Jefferson Street from Interstate 65 South in downtown Louisville will be temporarily closed this weekend.

Drivers who use the Kennedy Bridge should brace for a longer detour.

The lanes will close the evening of Friday, Nov. 7, as crews continue work on a bridge joint replacement project.

Drivers should follow restrictions and use caution while going through the work zone.

Public feedback will be accepted until June 13, 2025. 

Be aware of some interstate ramp closures this weekend in Louisville's east end.

The ramp was shut down during the flooding along River Road over the past few weeks.

The heavy snowfall three weeks ago didn’t just make things difficult for drivers, but also had a big impact on wildlife, including deer searching for food.

Public feedback will be accepted for two weeks after Jan. 21.
