A Louisville man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly struck another man in the head with a baseball bat.

The warrant was not connected to animal abuse, but upon arriving at the home, officers found 19 dogs living in "extremely poor conditions."

The shooting happened on June 14, 2025 in the 1600 block of Bulger Court, near South 11th Street, around 8:35 p.m.

Witnesses told police that Christopher Foley confronted the victim, yelling that he owed him money.

Montra Huddleston, 35, had gotten into a verbal argument with the woman before the shooting happened.

The judge set bond at $250,000 full cash. 

The incident was captured on video in early August.
