LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An 18-year-old man arrested in connection to a shooting that killed a 14-year-old boy in June was arraigned Thursday.
According to online court records, Aalijah Gray was taken into custody around 8 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 15). He appeared in arraignment court Thursday morning, where the judge set his bond at $150,000.
The shooting happened June 14, 2025 in the 1600 block of Bulger Court, near South 11th Street, around 8:35 p.m. That's in Louisville's Algonquin neighborhood.
When police arrived on scene, they found the boy, whose age wasn't known at this time, with a gunshot wound. In the initial release, LMPD's Aaron Ellis said the victim was taken to the hospital with critical and life-threatening injuries. Two days later, the boy died.
Gray is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. His next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 24.
