A 30-year-old man is facing attempted murder and assault charges after police said he attacked another man with a cleaver knife in what investigators describe as a targeted assault.
According to police, a 16-year-old boy was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded to the 500 block of West Ormsby Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 26 "on an investigation."
According to her citation, she was in a verbal argument with the man and it turned physical.

Police said a man was taken to UofL Hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.
