A state of emergency has been declared in Louisville after a tornado ripped through Jeffersontown and severe flooding is expected over the coming days.
The National Weather Service is expected to survey damage in Clarksville on Wednesday after storms moved through the Louisville area Tuesday afternoon.
Many in west Louisville and Harrison County, Indiana, were left to pick up the pieces and damage left behind from tornadoes that blew through the area Thursday.
The survey teams continued work days after Tuesday's line of storms that left damage in 13 Kentucky counties and another four counties in Indiana.
