Several interstate ramps are closing in Louisville to get ready for I-65 shutting down this summer to replace aging bridges.

River Road closed through January; Third Street may close intermittently during KFC Yum! Center roof work. 

The work zone is near the intersections of Riverside Beach Road, Captain's Quarters Road, and River Creek Drive.

Expect delays as rolling roadblocks go into place during the day to help prepare the busy interchange at I-264 and U.S. 42 for the added traffic.

The mudslide was reported around 3:30 a.m. in the right eastbound lane near the National Turnpike exit.

The incident happened just before noon Tuesday. 

Two right lanes on I-65 south on the bridge going into Louisville will close for steel repairs, according to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
