"Christopher's Law," filed by Councilwoman Jennifer Chappell, D-District 15, was introduced in a Public Safety Committee meeting on Wednesday.
Both of the Bardstown Road bars were evicted after failing to pay rent.

The suit charges, among other things, that LMPD failed to investigate the incident properly, that the bar failed to investigate Wright’s prior violence before hiring him and that Wright and others committed battery against the victim.
