The Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods (OSHN) said LMPD reported a 16% reduction in violence and 40% reduction in shootings in Louisville. 

Of the 170 homicides this year, 20 of the victims are under the age of 17.

Former Louisville Police officer Ray Barker, better known as "Sir Friendly C," said the ramp would give the thousands of cars that pass over West Broadway every day more direct access to businesses in the area.

Each agency will receive at least $300,000 as part of the Creating Structures of Support for System-Involved Youth funding opportunity.
