A 56-year-old man was shot and killed by Frankfort police on Saturday evening in Franklin County.
Body camera footage released Monday by Louisville Metro Police showed a shooting on Bardstown Road involving officers, but there are still many unanswered questions.
The incident happened about 2 a.m. on Monday.
The shooting happened about 12:50 am. Monday on Blackwell Road just north of Midland Trail in Shelbyville, according to Shelby County Coroner Jeff Ivers.
The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team is still investigating.
The Facebook post said more details about Andry's release will be made public in the coming days.
The shooting happened in North Vernon, Indiana in April 2023.
LMPD Col. Steve Healey said officers with the 3rd Division responded to the 4700 block of Crawford Avenue at 10:58 p.m. on a trouble run of an armed suspect.
