The arrest stems from a shooting that happened around 6 a.m. on May 24 in the 1700 block of Berry Boulevard.

A man charged in connection with a shooting at Texas Roadhouse in Okolona pleaded not guilty in court Saturday.

The Okolona community is still shaken after police say 24-year-old Ronald Winter shot a manager inside a Texas Roadhouse Thursday evening during a confrontation over an unpaid bill.

He is now charged with second-degree assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Jarrett Dennis, 36, is being charged with second-degree assault after he allegedly shot another man in the leg on West Chestnut Street, the citation says.
