In August 2022, Ashley Catlett hit and killed off-duty Shelbyville officer Thomas Elmore while he was on a motorcycle on Outer Loop and drove away.
Officers are looking for Ryan Chesser-Nelson, 20. He's charged with violating an emergency protective order, wanton endangerment and running from police.
Police said last August, Ashley Catlett, 28, hit a motorcyclist head-on on the Outer Loop.
Police said it happened at 5:22 p.m. Friday in the Juniper Drive area.
The day consisted of multiple hours of classroom instruction, practical exercises and skills training.
According to a family member, Ashley Catlett is devastated about causing another family to suffer the same grief she has felt for the last 10 years.
