A Louisville grand jury on July 30 declined to indict Louisville Metro Police Officer Alyssa Begel on a charge of second-degree manslaughter in the death of 61-year-old Charles Briscoe.
The grand jury returned a "no true bill" Wednesday on a charge of second-degree manslaughter presented against Officer Alyssa Begel.
The plan could lead to different street designs and policy and enforcement changes, all apart of Louisville's vision of zero roadway deaths by 2050.
Scott Drollinger, 38, was traveling west on Northwestern Parkway when he lost control and ran off the road.
Over the past several days, LMPD has seized almost 20 cars, most of them used to block traffic for street takeovers.
The arrest citation said the 22-year-old was weaving in and out of lanes, passing cars at speeds exceeding 130 mph.
So far this year, LMPD has impounded 70 cars for racing.
According to court documents, Louisville Metro Police arrested 34-year-old Mohammad Talib and charged him with murder, among other charges.
The 42-year-old was indicted on Tuesday and later arrested at his Oldham County home.
Officer William Bors is facing multiple charges for speeding, wanton endangerment and official misconduct.
