LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police have arrested a Louisville man in connection to a fatal car accident in the Fern Creek neighborhood in March.
According to court documents, Louisville Metro Police arrested 34-year-old Mohammad Talib on Thursday and charged him with murder, three counts of wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, racing on a public highway and speeding.
Police said on March 27 a little before 11 p.m., officers, along with fire and EMS, were dispatched to a car accident on Bardstown Road at Iona Court, next to the Harley Center. Police said a woman was turning left onto southbound Bardstown Road when she was hit by another car, driven by Talib.
The woman died at the scene. Her identity hasn't been released.
The car driven by Talib had a total of four people inside, including Talib, and none of them were hurt.
Talib is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections, and is expected to be arraigned Monday.
