LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Friday night in the city's Jacobs neighborhood.
Officers were called to the 3500 block of Parthenia Avenue just after 8 p.m. on a reported shooting, according to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis. That's off Berry Boulevard, near Manslick Road.
Once on scene, police found a man on the ground with a gunshot wound. Officers provided aid until EMS arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests as detectives look into what led up to the shooting.
