About three months ago, an EF-2 tornado touched down in Prospect, Kentucky.

Meade County residents say despite the damage, they're thankful no one here was hurt.

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado hit Newburg during the storms, with winds up to 90 miles per hour in the area of Bishop Lane by the Kroger Distribution Center.

No one was killed or injured.

Thursday marked 11 years since the devastating EF-4 tornado ripped through southern Indiana.

They said no one was injured in the storms, but at least a few homes, a barn, several trees and some businesses were damaged in Salem.

Jefferson County Public Schools is leading a donation drive to help tornado victims in western Kentucky.

Rescuers in an increasingly bleak search picked through the tornado-splintered ruins of Kentucky homes and businesses Sunday, including a candle factory that was bustling with night-shift employees when it was flattened, as the governor warned that the state’s death toll from the outbreak could top 100.

No injuries have been reported.
