Kentuckiana road crews are preparing for the first weather event of the season.
The Friday morning commute could get dicey as winter weather moves into the Kentuckiana area, but the salt trucks and snow plows on both sides of the river are prepared.
At midnight, crews for southern Indiana and for Jefferson, Bullitt and Oldham counties will report for duty.
