LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former Indiana University basketball star is taking over the athletic department at Jeffersonville High School.
A.J. Moye is now the new athletic director. He was at the Greater Clark County Schools board meeting Tuesday night, where the official announcement was made.
Moye played for the Hoosiers from 2000-04 and was recruited by Bob Knight.Â
He recently was an assistant basketball coach at Valparaiso University as the director of recruiting and player development.
Moye also worked at the Mamba Sports Academy with Kobe Bryant as a tournament director and master basketball trainer.
He'll oversee the athletic department that includes head boys basketball coach Sherron Wilkerson, who played for IU from 1993-96. He also won the IHSAA 4A state championship this past season.
