LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The golf adage "drive for show, putt for dough" was proven last weekend.

Sheldon Hogland, a Louisville golfer, won $50,000 for his putting skills.

The putting contest was held at Iroquois Golf Course last weekend. Contestants had to qualify at an event to compete in the final round.

Hogland made a 10-foot putt, then a 20-foot putt before making the final shot for $50,000.
