Louisville's Keyjuan Brown looks down at the goal line after a touchdown run against Bowling Green.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville running back Keyjuan Brown, who has filled in exceptionally for injured preseason All-American Isaac Brown, is now sidelined by injury himself, while quarterback Miller Moss is listed as "questionable" for the game in the ACC's initial injury report.

Brown, who is second on the team with 592 yards rushing and 7.3 yards per carry, leads the Cardinals with six rushing touchdowns.

He has carried for better than 135 yards in Louisville's past two games and had better than 95 yards in the two prior to that.

Brown had two touchdown runs in Louisville's win over Virginia Tech and one in their victory over Boston College. A source close to the team said he had suffered a lower leg injury.

In his absence, Louisville will turn to sophomore Duke Watson, who has seen limited action this season but did have 11 carries for 49 yards in Louisville's loss to Clemson last Friday.

Watson has run the ball 43 times for 122 yards this season. As a freshman, he rushed for 597 yards and a nation's best 8.91 yards per carry.

Moss has struggled in over the past month, averaging 184.5 passing yards per game over Louisville's past four. No information is available on his injury.

Louisville will also be without linebacker Antonio Watts, while leading tackler T.J. Quinn is listed as probable.

The Cardinals (7-3) head to SMU trying to end a two-game losing streak. They're trying to avoid their first three-game losing streak since the end of Brohm's first season in 2023, where they lost to Kentucky, then in the ACC Championship game to Florida State before falling to USC in the Holiday Bowl.
