U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Task Force-Eagle transport supplies supporting the Department of State-led Operation Allies Refuge mission for vulnerable Afghans at a site near Dulles, Virginia, Aug. 22, 2021. The Department of Defense, in support of the Department of State, is providing transportation and temporary housing in support of Operation Allies Refuge. This initiative follows through on America's commitment to Afghan citizens who have helped the United States and provides them essential support at secure locations outside Afghanistan.
