LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Highlands Festival becomes a celebration for the dogs.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser joined some of the people making the neighborhood party possible.
Highlands Festival is making its return this summer on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Stretching along Baxter Avenue between Broadway and Highlands, the free, family-friendly festival features live entertainment, local food & shopping, car show, & activities for all ages.
Coinciding with National Dog Day, the festival has partnered with PG&J's Dog Bar and the Kentucky Humane Society to host dog-friendly activities throughout the day while supporting the Kentucky Humane Society.
