The tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing “ding” of an incorrect spelling.
Along the way, we hear hilarious and touching stories from their home lives.
Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion.
Originally on Broadway in 2005, this musical is a riotous ride, complete with audience participation.
