LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A burger chain will replace a former Dairy Queen location in southern Indiana.

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will take over the DQ on Veterans Parkway in Clarksville, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.

The location will be the chain's first in southern Indiana, however there are Freddy's restaurants in Seymour and Bloomington.

Kentucky also has several locations, including one on Shelbyville Road in Louisville. Another location is under construction on Dixie Highway.

Construction on the Clarksville location is expected to begin within the next few months, with an anticipated opening date for this summer, LBF reported.

The chain offers cooked-to-order burgers and frozen custard.
