LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Warm weather, birds chirping, swimming pool's open, sun shining - it can only mean one thing. It's grilling season!
Kroger is ready to supply all the grilling foods that you're craving this summer.
Nicole Jacob and Kaylee Bliss joined WDRB Mornings on Thursday with some fresh examples of what you can fix up on your grill this summer.

Build Your Own Burger

Ingredients:
- 8 beef burger patties
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 8 hamburger buns
- 1 cup Kroger Pimento Cheese Spread
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 8 lettuce leaves
Preheat grill to high heat, about 450°F. Season burger patties with salt and pepper. Grill about 4 minutes per side for a medium burger or 5 minutes per side for a medium-well to well done burger (safe internal temp. 160°F).
Slather top and bottom buns with pimento cheese spread, stacking burger, tomato slices and 1 lettuce leaf in between.

Pineapple Mango Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 fresh pineapple
- 1 pint strawberries, sliced
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
- 1 mango, sliced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup coconut flakes
- 1 bunch fresh mint
Cut pineapple in half lengthwise. Carve out the insides from pineapple halves. Save halves to serve salad in. Dice pineapple, discarding the core. Mix pineapple, strawberries, bananas, kiwi and mango together.
In a small bowl, combine honey, lime juice and cinnamon. Pour over fruit and toss. Place in pineapple shell, sprinkle with coconut and garnish with mint leaves.
