LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The U.S. military is getting in on the Hoosier hype as Indiana University prepares to play for the national college football title.

Master Sgt. William Hopper shared photos of their nod to the IU football team on the tail of a fighter jet based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

The photos show the IU logo wrapped around the F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 122nd Fighter Wing.

Hopper snapped the photos during sunrise on Tuesday.

The No. 1 undefeated Hoosiers take on the Miami Hurricanes Monday in the College Football Playoff National Championship game in Miami.

Hoosier fans are planning watch parties across the country for the historic matchup.
