LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Local companies are preparing for some friendly competition.
WDRB's Keith Kaiser puts WDRB Mornings to the test before the Louisville Corporate Games.
The Louisville Sports Commission created this community-wide event that brings together employees from Louisville-area businesses and organizations. It is designed to support companies that promote active lifestyles through corporate wellness programs.
This event creates a positive environment that encourages employee health and fitness, strengthens company spirit and fosters teamwork.
Happening on Saturday at Kentucky Country Day School, the competition kicks off at 8 a.m., and the award ceremony will conclude by 1:30 p.m.
Teams participate in more than 20 events including bracketed challenges like basketball, pickleball and WDRB dodge ball, plus non-bracketed activities like disc golf, football throw and soccer kick.
The mission of the Louisville Sports Commission is to promote active lifestyles and enhance economic vitality by attracting, creating, and hosting quality sporting events in the Louisville area.
