LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Stop by NuLu for a pregame event before "Bourbon & Beyond."
WDRB's Keith Kaiser learns about "Bourbon, Brunch & Bluegrass."
The Louisville Mayor’s Office, Danny Wimmer Presents, and the NuLu Business Association are bringing back this special opportunity for yet another year.
This year, there will be a second event also taking place in NuLu for Louder Than Life.
On Saturday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 20, NuLu businesses will offer shopping, food & cocktail specials during this festival event.
Join in the bourbon and Kentucky themed activities such as bourbon barrel rolling, bourbon tray carrying and stick horse racing contests on South Shelby Street, between Market Street and Jefferson Street.
Enjoy live bluegrass music on two stages, the Nanny Goat Strut stage and the NuLu Marketplace stage. The area includes a full bar and beer booth on South Shelby Street along with a commemorative photo op, live bourbon barrel art, and local food trucks.
Many NuLu and nearby restaurants will be serving up brunch and lunch for both dine-in and carryout, and free courtesy shuttles out to the festival grounds running from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
