LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Keith Kaiser learned some science from the Science Guy, Jason Lindsey, who is an award-winning science educator and author.
Lindsey studied science and journalism at Wester Kentucky University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meterology. At WKU, he focused on General Science, meterology, climatology, but in the last ten years, he has worked to take science beyond the classroom.
Each year he performs hands-on science experiments at hundreds of schools and community events throughout the United States. His hands-on, kid-friendly, science classes and camps are offered throughout the year and have helped hook thousands of kids on science.
Lindsey took time to present to the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Conference at the Galt House on September 23rd, 24th, and 25th.
