LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dads spend seven hours each year hiding from their families, according to a recent study by a British bathroom furnishing company.

Pebble Grey surveyed 1,000 British men and found that they are spending their alone time in the bathroom. Nearly a quarter of those men called the bathroom their "safe place." 

Pebble Grey also surveyed 1,000 women — only 20 percent of them said they use the bathroom to escape their families.
