After another active Saturday with storms, we've got another rain chance for today. Here's the good thing though...no severe weather!
A low pressure is stuck right on top of us today, meaning that it's going to be hard to not get a shower in our area today. With the low parked where it is, we're going to see extensive cloud cover for most of the day as well.
Most of the showers today will be on the lighter side, especially to start. This will be your best time to avoid some of the rain and some of the heavier rain is in the morning.
Once we get into the afternoon, that's when we will bring in a few more moderate or heavy downpours into our area. We'll add in a few extra showers in there to peak around a 60% or so of rain. A few rumbles of thunder are still possible, but with the amount of cloud cover that we have out there today, severe weather isn't a concern.
It'll be a bit of a cat & mouse game this afternoon to avoid some showers and downpours around our area. but there will likely still be dry time at times today despite how gloomy it'll be with all the clouds. The good thing from all the cloud cover is that we likely won't even get out of the 70s today!
