Before we get to more cloud cover by Saturday and multiple rain and storm chances for the upcoming work week, we have a chance to see the International Space Station tonight! The weather should cooperate, so that won't be a problem for most of us this evening.
the ISS will pass over at 7:10PM this evening, so even if you're heading to the UofL game, you'll have a chance to see it. It will first appear in the western sky and will be visible for 4 minutes before disappearing over the northern sky at 7:14pm. This pass isn't incredibly high up, so the further away you are from trees and buildings the better.Â
As mentioned, skies should be mostly clear so that won't hinder your viewing too much. The peak elevation is only 28 degrees above the horizon so try to get to a more open field of view to see it the best!
