It's nice to dry off and have nice conditions in our area during this time of the year, but it doesn't come without a price. Now that we are in the middle of April and more and more plants are continuing to grow and sprout, pollen counts are going through the roof!

With windy conditions today and gusts climbing to 30-35 mph at times, this makes the pollen today even worse. It's not just today, though! Pollen counts today, Wednesday, and Thursday are all in the "very high" levels.

Tree pollens are mainly to blame for your seasonal allergies this week. In particular, Oak, Maple, and Ash.

Pollen counts remain high as long as we remain dry. This will be the case through most of the work week. Once we get into the weekend, we have a severe chance for our area on Saturday as a front stalls over our area.
