Creating a whole new meaning for division, West Clark Community Schools now has two interim school boards.Ā
The divorce would end years of acrimony among residents in rural and suburban areas of the Clark County district that was created during school consolidations of the 1960s.
State Representatives Steve Davisson and Karen Engleman say the House Enrolled Act 1066 will protect teacher contracts despite the split of West Clark Community Schools into two districts.
