A tribute to Madison Mayor Damon Welch
Madison Mayor Damon Welch awoke with health complications early Wednesday and was rushed to Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison, where he later died, officials said.

Welch was a Madison native who had been mayor since 2012.
Welch died Wednesday in his second term as mayor at the age of 66 after experiencing a health problem.
