Councilman Anthony Piagentini, R-19, reportedly gave a $40 million grant from the city to the Louisville Healthcare CEO Council before removing himself ahead of the vote, only to later be hired as a consultant by the group that got the money.
The lawsuit claims the city's ethics board has improperly released records related to a complaint against Anthony Piagentini and violated Kentucky’s open meetings law.
The Louisville Metro Ethics Commission ruled Councilman Anthony Piagentini, R-19, committed six ethics violations and unanimously recommended his removal from office.
