St. Matthews Police confirmed it was a bank robbery investigation that began about 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Armond Langford, 32, was not present in court for his arraignment hearing Saturday because the judge said he was uncooperative.
The man accused of abducting a family from an east Louisville neighborhood and robbing a bank has faced similar charges in the past.
