KSP said an employee from the Nelson County Humane Society called 911 after "an individual became disorderly" and threatened them with a firearm.
The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 7 at the Shell station at Bloomfield and Guthrie Drive, just east of downtown Bardstown.
