The project will debut for the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby in 2024 and will cost between $185-$200 million.
The ornamental towers were a last-minute addition when Louisville architect Joseph Baldez designed a new grandstand.
He said the planned $200 million renovation will "truly transform the experience."
