Nearly 90% of adult smokers started before age 18, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The eight-session program will include weekly support group meetings and nicotine replacement products such as patches and gum, which will be offered for free.
The age limit has changed for buying, selling and using tobacco products in the U.S.Â
