LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Labor Day weekend is just two weeks away and with that comes an annual Louisville tradition celebrating different world cultures.
The 23rd annual World Fest kicks off Friday, Aug. 29 and runs through Labor Day, Sept. 1 on the Belvedere in downtown Louisville.
More than 150,000 people take part in international cultures, food, performances, and vendors.
There will also be a parade of cultures and a naturalization ceremony welcoming 300 new Americans to Louisville as new citizens on Friday at the Muhammad Ali Center.
The event is free and open to all ages.
