LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.
Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening the weekend of Friday, Jan. 9 to Sunday, Jan. 11.
Louisville Home + Garden Show
The Louisville Home and Garden Show returns to the Kentucky Exposition Center this weekend.
Guests will be able to shop home products and services as the spring season approaches and home projects ramp up.
There will be 300 booths to explore, with displays to inspire homeowners' next project.
Local experts and businesses will be on hand offering advice or services available.
Organizers said there will also be presentations on design, remodeling, gardening and culinary — with seven gardens, including a beer garden, and a marketplace for home decor and artisanal foods.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11.
Tickets for adults, ages 13 and up, cost $10 at the box office or $8 online. Children ages 12 and under do not need a ticket. Paid parking is available at the Expo Center.

Friends of the Library Book Sale
You can find your newest read this weekend at the Friends of the Library Book Sale.
The sales are held on the second and fourth Fridays and Saturdays of each month at the Jeffersonville Township Public Library on East Court Avenue, on the lower level. Library officials said the book store can be accessed by the south lobby stairs or elevator.
Organizers promise a large selection of books coming from donations or pulled library copies.
All forms of payment — cash, check, credit, debit and contactless — are accepted.
The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Funds raised from sales support the library and the programs it provides to the community.

Kentucky Shakespeare presents 'Emma'
Take in Jane Austen's beloved novel "Emma" on the stage this weekend at Actors Theatre of Louisville.
Kentucky Shakespeare's adaptation of the novel takes the audience into the world of Austen through a "fresh, feminist take on a treasured classic."
"This 'Emma' breaks down convention, expectation, and even the fourth wall with vibrant comic flair."
The novel centers around Emma Woodhouse, who prides herself on her matchmaking skills to keep herself busy.
Tickets cost $25, plus a $5 ticketing fee.
"Emma" runs from Friday, Jan. 9 through Jan. 18, with matinees and evening showings available

Ultimate Wedding Expo
Planning your wedding? This weekend's Wedding Expo at the Mellwood Art Center offers couples a one-stop-shop for their special day.
Meet local wedding professionals face-to-face to help jump start on or help with planning.
Participate in cake, cupcake and chocolate fountain tastings, discover the latest trends in floral, decor and fashion, and more, with special deals and discounts, swag and prizes. There will also be a photo booth.
Tickets cost $15.
The Wedding Expo runs from 12-3 p.m. at the Mellwood Art Center on Mellwood Avenue Sunday, Jan. 11.

Family Fun Day at KMAC
KMAC Contemporary Art Museum on West Main Street is hosting its annual Winer Family Fun Day this weekend.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, families can get into the museum for free to watch demonstrations from miniature artists, listen to music from UofL Music Therapy, take part in a collage and sculpture project and indulge in hot chocolate from the museum's cafe.
There will also be a Zine Swap led by local artist Kristen Miller.
Family Fun Days provide a day of programming for families, friends and kids of all ages.
