LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.
Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Saturday, June 14 to Sunday, June 15, 2025.
Sky Soul Festival
The Sky Soul Festival is celebrating R&B and Hip-Hop culture at Waterfront Park Saturday, June 14. The showcase features live music, community and artistic expression.
The list of performers includes Jagged Edge, Stokley, Doug E. Fresh, Jon B, Dave Hollister, and others. More than 7,000 people attended the festival last year. Gates open at 1 p.m. Saturday with performances beginning at 3 p.m.
Tickets start at $71.62 and a portion of ticket sales goes to the Sky Foundation. The money will be used for scholarships.
The event is rain or shine and all ages are allowed but will be charged full ticket price regardless of age.

The Stephen Foster Story
Opening night of "The Stephen Foster Story" is set for Saturday, June 14 as performances are scheduled on select nights through Aug. 9 at 411 East Stephen Foster Avenue in Bardstown.
Saturday's performance begins at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for a pre-show live music by the band Puncheon Creek.
The show is set in the mid-19th century and it follows composer Stephen Collins Foster as he paves the road for future songwriters.

Father's Day at Louisville Slugger Museum
The Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory will help you hit a home run on Father's Day.
Dads will receive free admission to the museum Sunday, June 15 with a walk-in ticket purchase.
There will also be a free limited-edition Torpedo mini-bat given out, while supplies last, if you take the factory tour.
The museum will also have special Father's Day programming throughout the day.
Spring Wing Fest
The family-friendly, neighborhood festival featuring all things chicken wings, is Saturday, June 14, from 2-8 p.m.
There will be a hot wing eating contest, live music, children's activities, outdoor games and a variety of food and drinks.
Spring Street's parking lot will be closed to host the event.
The festival features the following schedule:
- 2-8 p.m.: Family-Friendly Activities & Outdoor Games
- 2-4 p.m.: DJ Matt Anthony
- 4-5 p.m.: Hot Wing Eating Contest
- 6-8 p.m.: Live Music: School of Rock
Whiskey Row Car Show
On Father's Day weekend take your loved one to East Main Street in downtown Louisville for a car extravaganza on Whiskey Row Saturday, June 14.
The streets will close down to showcase the vehicles and will have live music and vendors.
There will be classics to modern cars. The show begins at 10 a.m. and runs to 4 p.m. There's free parking and the Louisville Paints Slingers will have a live auction at 3 p.m.
