LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Spring Street Fest returns to downtown Jeffersonville this weekend.

The fifth annual event features more than 30 vendors, kids activities, live music and food trucks. Featured performers include Doom Gong, Future Fossils, Cliff, Soul Pilot, The Aesthetic, Yapa! and Ray Keys & The Elementals.

The festival was started in 2021 by Chris Palmer and Dan Mahony, owners of The Alcove bar on Spring Street. The duo partners with local businesses, including Bad Cat Boutique in downtown Jeffersonville, to put on the event.

Thousands have attended the street festival over the past few years.

"We started Spring Street Fest as a way to bring downtown businesses together and provide a fun event for people in Jeff," Palmer said in a news release. "We always do it the weekend before Thunder, as a kickoff to spring and summer."

Spring Street Fest is free and open to all ages. It takes over the 200 block of Spring Street from noon to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11.
